Law 1672 was implemented in 2013, the law establishes policy guidelines for environmentally responsible management of WEEE. Producers or importers are financially responsible for the proper management of covered products during collection, transport, storage, processing, reuse, recovery and/or final disposal. They have to design and submit a waste management plant to National Authority of Enviromental Licences (ANLA) or join and existing collective waste management program.
