Canadian Federal Plastics Registry

On April 20 2024, the Department of the Environment announced the Canadian Federal Plastics Registry. Importers, manufacturers, and business users of plastics packaging and products (including electronics, automotive, and apparel) are required to report the plastics in the products they import, manufacturer, sell, and dispose of, in the industrial waste stream.
